A group of 19 European Harvard club leaders gathered in Istanbul from September 9 to 11, along with HAA executive committee members and leaders, to share information and to strengthen the European alumni network. The weekend event, hosted by the Harvard Club of Turkey, focused on “Creating Value Representing Harvard Abroad.” Harvard Clubs in Europe represent 16,000 alumni — more than a third of the University’s total international alumni population. The clubs boast strong membership rates and are composed largely of alumni of the University’s graduate and professional schools.
