The Harvard Club of Boston, established in 1908, has elected its first female president. Belmont resident Karen Van Winkle ’80, vice president of business development and marketing for Creative Office Pavilion, has been among those who helped launch and oversee the renovations that have transformed the Commonwealth Avenue club. [5] The improvements include a new rear entrance and elevator, six overnight room makeovers, numerous cosmetic updates, a revamped athletic club, and a new restaurant, called Veritas.
