Now's Your Chance

You can't win if you don't run, or, put another way, your candidate can't win if you don't nominate her. To propose candidates for Overseer or elected director of the HAA, including professional school graduates and younger alumni, write to Christopher T. Bayley '60, J.D. '66, chairman, Overseers-Directors Nominating Committee, Harvard Alumni Association, Wadsworth House, Cambridge 02138.

The HAA alumni-awards committee also seeks nominees for the Harvard Medals and HAA Awards. Send names and supporting details to Betsey B. Urschel, M.Ed. '63, Chair, HAA Committee on Alumni Awards, Wadsworth House, Cambridge 02138.

Members of the Harvard community are invited to submit names of likely candidates for honorary degrees to be distributed in June 1999 or later. Biographical material and comments in support of recommendations should accompany submissions. Nominations may be sent to Professor Hanna Gray, chair of the Harvard Corporation's advisory committee on honorary degrees, or Michael Roberts, secretary to the Corporation, at Loeb House, 17 Quincy Street, Cambridge 02138. Nominations should be submitted by November 7.
