Comings and Goings

New Englanders have heard rumors that spring isn't a mere technicality in other parts of the country. A few lucky Harvard faculty members are set to find out for themselves.

Provost Harvey Fineberg leads the way to North Carolina when "Harvard Comes to the Research Triangle" on March 28 with, among others, professor of English Robert Kiely; Katherine Merseth, director of the Harvard Project on Schooling and Children; and psychologist Jordan Peterson. The program "Harvard Comes to Washington, D.C." features dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences Jeremy R. Knowles on April 25. (Other guests are to be announced.) On the same day, the Harvard Club of Southern California welcomes professor of education emeritus Nathan Glazer as their special guest at the club's annual dinner.
