Comings and Goings

Take your mind off the holidays' toll on your wallet and waistline by attending a Harvard club event nearby. Among the attractions in January and February: President Rudenstine leads a delegation to San Francisco when Harvard Comes to the Bay Area on January 23. Scheduled speakers include political economist Dwight Perkins; law professor Charles Ogletree; and anthropologist Irven DeVore.

The Harvard-Radcliffe Club of Minnesota hosts education and social-policy expert Gary Orfield on January 21. Nieman Fellowships curator Bill Kovach visits the Harvard-Radcliffe Club of New Hampshire on February 17. Health-policy expert David Powell, speaking under the auspices of the Harvard Club of Central Florida, is in Vero Beach on February 26 and Orlando on February 27.

Friends, family, and colleagues of Thomas E. Crooks '49, former master of Dudley House, who died September 17, will gather in Lehman Hall on January 15 at 1 p.m. to celebrate his life. Call (617) 495-2256 for further information.
