The Brattle Theatre shows Mynette Louie's film Children of Invention

Boston-area readers can catch the film in Harvard Square starting this weekend. Producer Mynette Louie ’97 will appear at some screenings.

The independent film Children of Invention, produced by Mynette Louie ’97, is playing at the Brattle Theatre in Harvard Square from Friday, February 26, through Thursday, March 4. In an interview in Harvard Magazine's March-April issue, Louie discusses Children of Invention and the wider subject of independent filmmaking today; the accompanying Web Extra features a trailer and a video clip from her film. Louie and director Tze Chun will be present for the Friday- and Saturday-night screenings at the Brattle Theatre engagement.
