Harvard Arab Alumni Association

HAAA and the Arab and MENA student groups at Harvard are organizing the sixth annual Harvard Arab Weekend at Harvard, November 8-11.  Entitled “Sustaining the Arab Spring­—Avoiding the Fall,” the conference will critically assess the Arab world’s most pressing social, economic, and political challenges and demystify stereotypes long-held about the Arab world. Harvard Gay and Lesbian Caucus

HGLC co-hosts events in Los Angeles and New York this season. On November 11, Ivy Pride Alliance LA offers a chance to tour the Automobile Driving Museum and drink cocktails next to classic planes (details at https://tigernet.princeton.edu/~ffr-gala/Events2012/121111SoCal.html). In New York on November 14, the Intercollegiate LGBT Alumni Fall Dinner features the award-winning short Shabbat Dinner (details at https://tigernet.princeton.edu/~ffr-gala/Events2012/121114NYC.html). And HGLC’s UK chapter holds a Winter Holiday Party in London on December 7 (contact Javier Romero at jromero@post.harvard.edu for details).
