Orrin Tilevitz seeks first, a cartoon that ran “probably in Saturday Review, probably over 40 years ago,” in which a female fish (cute, with hairdo and legs) stands on shore and tells a male fish in the water, “It would never work. You haven’t evolved enough yet.” And second, an article he recalls reading years ago about man-eating orchids.
