Harvard Alumni Alliance for the Environment
HAAE (www.enviroalliance.com) welcomes all alumni and other members of the Harvard family interested in the environment. Members come from all fields and walks of life, environmental experts and novices both, sharing in common only Harvard roots and a concern for Earth’s future. Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs
HAE is dedicated to the advancement of entrepreneurship and the ideals of leadership and learning. For 10 years, the group has been a meeting point for founders and innovators worldwide, serving alumni from all of Harvard’s schools and at all phases across the arc of a self-authored career. This spring HAE invites alumni to participate in two activities: regional book clubs and an online anthology. Beginning in March, alumni will gather around the world to discuss the leadership lessons found in literature. Harvardwood
Harvardwood (www.harvardwood.org) is a global organization for alumni, students, faculty, and staff working or interested in the arts, media, and entertainment. New York City-based alumni in these fields are invited to its networking event at the National Arts Club on March 4. On the West Coast, the group hosts a screening of Harvard Beats Yale 29-29 with director Kevin Rafferty ’70 (see “The Force Was With Them,” November-December 2008, page 79) on March 6 in Los Angeles.
