Harvard Law School’s Wasserstein Caspersen Clinical center is pedestrian-friendly along Massachusetts Avenue, with varied landscaping and views into classrooms. To the rear, a second-floor landscaped courtyard and green roof create an elevated quad: an oasis for conversation or lunch, for students to indulge in sun-and-study biathlons, and for small functions. The green spaces also helped the building secure a LEED Gold certification for energy and environmental design.
