Then on February 8, Jane Harman, J.D. ’69, D-Calif., the only woman in the contingent, announced her resignation to head the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. The total for the new session is again 31: three Republicans and nine Democrats in the Senate; two Republicans and 17 Democrats in the House.
